Hermes Agent Interactive Guide Configuration
¶ 1. Obtain API Key
Open the Lingxi AI Plaza application list, enter the available applications, and copy the API Key.
¶ 2. Run the Wizard
hermes model
Select Custom endpoint and fill in the following:

| API Key | The API Key just copied |
| API mode | chat_completions |
| Model | The model ID provided by Coding Plan |
| Context length | Leave blank for automatic detection, or fill in according to the model directory |
| Display name | Ace Data Cloud |
The wizard will write to ~/.hermes/config.yaml and the local credentials file.
¶ 3. Verification
hermes config check
hermes -z "Reply only OK" --provider custom --model MODEL_ID --ignore-rules
If the wizard did not save the configuration, you can run hermes model --reset and try again; a 401 indicates that the API Key is invalid or not accessible by the current user configuration.
